作家プロフィール

 

山瀬まゆみ

1986年、東京生まれ。幼少期をアメリカで過ごし、高校卒業と同時に渡英。ロンドン芸術大学、Chelsea College of Arts and Designにてファインアート学科を専攻。現在は東京を拠点に活動。抽象的なペインティングとソフトスカルプチャーを主に、相対するリアリティ（肉体）と目に見えないファンタジーや想像をコンセプトに制作する。

 

Born in Tokyo, 1986. Mayumi Yamase spent her early childhood in the US until the age of 6. After graduating high school in Tokyo, she moved to London to study at UCL (University college of London) and Chelsea College of Arts and Design, Fine Art. Mayumi is based in Tokyo at present. Her main practice of colorful abstract painting and soft sculpture is often dissected to reveal the intestines and guts of what must be some kind of organic form, which expresses the opposite side of reality and fantasy/imagination.
